The atmosphere at San Lorenzo is experiencing one of its most tense moments in recent years. The professional squad broke its silence and published a strong statement addressed to the club's management, in which it reported serious irregularities in working conditions and a prolonged delay in salaries.

The statement, shared through the players' social media accounts, revealed a concerning reality: lack of payments since August, basic deficiencies in the locker room, and insufficient food. "The current situation is unsustainable and requires an immediate and serious solution. We expect the authorities to act responsibly. We're not seeking conflict, but rather a concrete and fair response," the statement reads, which quickly went viral among the blaugrana fans.

"The players of the professional squad of Club Atlético San Lorenzo de Almagro wish to publicly express our deep concern and discomfort regarding the delicate situation we've continued to face since the beginning of the season. Since August, we haven't received, in some cases, our full salaries, which directly affects our families and compromises the normal development of our professional activity. In addition, we face other daily difficulties: lack of adequate food, absence of basic services in the locker room (hot water), and lack of concrete responses from the management, despite repeated promises of solutions that were never fulfilled," the statement details.

The collective declaration marks a turning point within the club. The players state that they've maintained a prudent stance for months, but the deterioration of the situation forced them to take a public position. "Throughout this time, we've been patient, responsible, and respectful. We've continued training, competing, and representing the club with the greatest possible commitment, always prioritizing the colors, the institution, and its people. However, we feel that the time has come to raise our voices once again. This isn't just an economic issue, but also one of respect, dignity, and the minimum working conditions that every worker deserves. The current situation is unsustainable and requires an immediate and serious solution."

The message, which was shared by almost all members of the professional squad, concludes with a clear request to the authorities of the Boedo institution. "We expect the club's authorities to act with the responsibility that the moment demands. We're not seeking conflict, but rather a concrete and fair response that will allow us to carry out our profession in conditions consistent with the commitment we've always demonstrated."

The statement reflects a deep institutional and economic crisis at San Lorenzo, which adds to the sporting problems the team has been dragging throughout the season. The management, for now, hasn't issued an official response, while uncertainty grows over how a conflict that exposes the club's delicate present will be solved.
