Santiago del Azar, Melody Luz's boyfriend, revealed how he introduced her to his inner circle.
The chef opened up about his relationship with the dancer and Alex Caniggia's ex-partner on the show 'Empezar el Día.'
Santiago del Azar, a renowned chef and media figure, surprised everyone by confirming his relationship with dancer Melody Luz, ex-girlfriend of Alex Caniggia, on television.
The confession took place in a recent interview on the show Empezar el Día, hosted by Yuyito González, where the chef spoke openly about his current romantic situation.
Although there had been rumors of a romance between the two for just over a month, this was the first time Del Azar explicitly referred to the relationship. He did so spontaneously, albeit with some shyness, when "gently pressured" by the morning show's host.

During the interview, Yuyito didn't hesitate to get straight to the point and directly asked the chef if she should "take him off the list of heartthrobs". Del Azar replied with a smile and, in a conspiratorial tone, assured: "I think you should ask Melody". The conversation became more intimate when the host insisted on getting a definitive answer: "Is Melody your girlfriend?"
It was then that Santiago del Azar dropped the phrase that left everyone surprised: "We are doing very well, we get along very well, she is a beautiful woman. We are doing very well and we do each other a lot of good". After a brief pause, he added: "You could say yes".
Although he avoided labeling the relationship with the classic word "girlfriend," Del Azar clarified that they both consider themselves a couple: "We are a couple and we are doing very well. To me, 'girlfriend.' We are a couple, and let it last as long as it lasts", he expressed honestly to the viewers.

The chef also revealed a more emotional side, stating that the bond is growing stronger day by day: "Love is growing, but we don't say 'my girlfriend' or 'my boyfriend.' We get along very well and respect each other a lot", he concluded without further words.
Meanwhile, Yuyito González celebrated the announcement with tenderness and highlighted the beauty of calling someone "boyfriend" or "girlfriend," although she respected the couple's decision not to use traditional labels.
