Santiago del Azar's gesture after the reconciliation of Alex Caniggia and Melody Luz

The reconciliation between Alex Caniggia and Melody Luz not only surprised their followers, but also those who were closest to the dancer's current romantic situation. Santiago del Azar, chef and Melody's ex-partner, broke his silence after the news and shared intimate details about how he found out that their relationship had come to an end.

In a conversation with Mujeres argentinas, Del Azar appeared moved by what happened:"She made the decision to separate. I knew this could happen because they're family and they have a daughter together. Does it hurt? Yes. Does it bother me? No, but it hurts," he said, acknowledging the emotional blow that Melody's return to her daughter's father, Venezia, meant.

The former contestant of El hotel de los famosos recounted that he had even accepted naturally that Melody would meet with Alex: "She was going to meet with him and they were going to go to his house. I told her why didn't they meet at Melody's place, that I had no problem," he said. He added an intimate detail: "We were talking about threesomes and I told her that if one day she was with Alex, it wouldn't bother me. But not now."

However, everything changed one night.  "I came back from taking my daughter to dance class and I called her, but she didn't answer. I sent her messages and nothing. I thought: 'Is this happening?'" he recalled. When he passed by Melody's house, his intuition turned into certainty: "I took the dog for a walk, passed by her house, saw the lights on, looked in and saw two little heads lying on the bed."

Hurt, he decided to ring the doorbell: "She came out, asked me what I wanted. I rang again and she didn't answer. She says I knocked on the door, but it wasn't like that. I didn't use bad words, I didn't insult, I'm not aggressive or violent. I just didn't want her to leave," he assured, denying rumors that circulated about a possible tense episode.

Although the anguish was evident, Santiago was clear about his current position: "I don't want to get back with her, now it's over," he said. This way, he closed a brief but media-covered romantic chapter with the dancer.

Melody Luz and Santiago del Azar met in 2022 during their time on El hotel de los famosos (El Trece), although at that time the dancer chose to start a relationship with Alex Caniggia. After the latter's separation, Luz and Del Azar reconnected and maintained a relationship for about two months, which included romantic posts on social media.
