Big Brother, Golden Generation already has a start date and is beginning to take shape. Days before the premiere on Telefe, Santiago del Moro came out to dispel rumors and explained what this new stage of the reality show will be like.
The host confirmed that the house will open its doors on February 23 and that there will be more than 24 participants. He also made it clear why this edition will not be made up of celebrities.

Why it will not be a celebrity edition
During a press conference, Del Moro was blunt: “It is not Big Brother Celebrities, nor GH VIP, nor The Celebrity House”, he clarified.
According to what he explained, the production did not look for well-known figures or massively call on celebrities. “We are not looking for celebrities. Those who enter must really want to play”, he stated.
Along those lines, he pointed out a key difference with other reality shows. “Here, life is put on hold. It is not like going to cook on MasterChef Celebrity and going back home”, he stressed.
How many participants will enter the house
Del Moro confirmed that there are 42 preselected people who underwent psychophysical evaluations and recorded their introductions. The final cast will come out of that group.
