Scandal: Luciano Castro and Gonzalo Heredia fought over Sabrina Rojas

The rift occurred during the play 'Desnudos' and ended nearly 20 years of friendship

For almost two decades, Gonzalo Heredia and Luciano Castro cultivated a friendship that was born on stage and extended into their personal lives. They shared successful projects, trips, and even celebrated birthdays together. However, that relationship, which seemed unbreakable, came to an end amid work-related tensions.

The origin of the estrangement

Journalist Paula Varela revealed on Intrusos (América TV) that the conflict between the actors began in 2021, when Castro separated from Sabrina Rojas, while the three of them starred in the play Desnudos.

Rojas's presence in the cast reportedly created an uncomfortable atmosphere in the locker rooms. According to Varela, Castro expected Heredia to take sides and ask for his ex-partner's departure in order to preserve the dynamic between them.

In the absence of a reaction, Castro threatened to leave the play to gauge his colleague's response. However, Heredia didn't intervene. The situation led to Castro's decision to leave the project for good, something that reportedly hurt him deeply.

Heredia and Brenda Gandini's position

Gonzalo Heredia's silence was not accidental. Both he and his partner, Brenda Gandini, maintained a strong friendship with Sabrina Rojas. For that reason, they preferred to keep their place in the play and not force her departure.

For Castro, that gesture meant a lack of support from his friend, while the couple interpreted his attitude as a "whim." The tension thus became unsustainable and the definitive break became inevitable.

A story of shared successes

The relationship between the two had been forged in 2009, when they starred in Valientes, the successful Pol-ka fiction that reached peaks of 30 rating points. There, they played the brothers Enzo and Leonardo Sosa, roles that established them as prime time figures.

Far from being just coworkers, the actors shared countless moments offstage: family vacations, joint interviews, and private celebrations. In 2019, they even celebrated their birthdays at the same party, a sign of the close bond that united them.

Today, that friendship, which once seemed unbreakable, is a thing of the past. What was once an inseparable duo of Argentine television ended with a silent fight that marked the end of almost twenty years of relationship.
