Between Friday and Monday, the Provincial Security Ministry of Córdoba, through the Córdoba Police, carried out a wide preventive operation in various locations across the provincial territory, resulting in 117 people detained and 128 vehicles seized, including cars and motorcycles.

As part of the procedures, 15 firearms were removed from circulation, along with replicas and other items related to criminal activities. More than six kilos of marijuana, cash, cell phones, and other items of interest for various investigations were also seized.

In parallel, raids related to cases of domestic violence, threats, injuries, sexual abuse, and robbery were conducted, allowing for the seizure of evidentiary items and the identification and presentation of individuals linked to these incidents to the Justice system.

The results are part of the preventive deployment that the Security Ministry maintains permanently in the provincial territory, with controls, patrols, and procedures aimed at preventing crimes, detecting risk situations, and removing weapons, vehicles, and drugs linked to criminal activities from circulation.

“These results show a Police that is present and working on the streets. We do not wait for crime to occur to act: we prevent, control, and intervene. Every weapon we remove, every vehicle we seize, and every person placed at the disposal of Justice is one less risk situation for the people of Córdoba," stated the Security Minister, Juan Pablo Quinteros.

“Our decision is clear: we will continue to organize the streets and strengthen our territorial presence. Those who disrupt order will be arrested. We must guarantee social peace and ensure that people live without fear. Security is built every day, with prevention, investigation, and a firm response from the State,” the official added.
