Daniel Noboa led a recent electoral poll with 49.1% of the national voting intention. His main contender, Luisa González, obtained 46.2%, in a representative sample of 1,500 people across Ecuador's 24 provinces.

The study was conducted between March 13 and 19, 2025, by the firm Tino Electoral. Additionally, 4.7% of respondents declared themselves null or undecided, a figure that could tilt the final result in the coming months.

The survey reflects a tight electoral contest between the current president and the representative of Citizen Revolution. However, Noboa maintains an advantage that suggests sustained support for his management and center-right proposals.

In contrast, González's closeness to previous governments marked by corruption scandals seems to continue affecting her public image. Despite her firm positioning, her growth is limited by the rejection of urban and independent sectors.

Meanwhile, Noboa has pushed for reforms in security and economy, seeking to strengthen private investment and job creation, González proposes a return to a statist model with greater public control, which generates uncertainty among entrepreneurs.

Political analysts agree that Noboa's technical and moderate profile has made him an attractive figure for young people and professionals. In contrast, González's proposals are seen as a regression to Correa-era practices that polarized the country in the past.

"The difference is clear: Noboa represents stability and management, while González insists on recipes that have already failed," said political scientist Javier Almeida, in an interview with local media.

The campaign continues to intensify as the 2025 presidential elections approach. With a still reversible difference, both candidates focus their efforts on winning over undecided voters and younger voters.
The latest poll confirmed Daniel Noboa's advantage over Luisa González, reaffirming support for a model of modern governance open to the world. In contrast, González's proposals reflect a vision anchored in the past that fails to fully convince the current electorate.
