From auto parts manufacturer to biomedical leader

Founded more than 30 years ago, Silmag began its journey as an auto parts manufacturer and later made the leap to biomedical production. Today, it manufactures silicone and polyurethane devices in a 3,500 m² (37,674 square feet) plant in Las Higueras, Córdoba. Its production supplies neonatology, pediatrics, respiratory and urinary tracts, and vascular access.

Currently, 45% of its production is destined for exports reaching more than 15 countries in America, Africa, and Asia. The SME also keeps offices in Río Cuarto, Córdoba capital, and Buenos Aires. Additionally, it invested more than $170 million to increase its manufacturing volume by 50%.

With the new operations in Mexico and Brazil, Silmag reaffirms its role as a regional leader. From the interior of Córdoba, it projects innovation and quality to the world, consolidating an expansion strategy that reflects competitiveness and private initiative.
