Snoop Dogg criticized Disney for including LGBTQ+ messages in its movies
The rapper criticized Disney for Lightyear and said that LGBTQ+ messages confuse children
Snoop Dogg was once again at the center of attention, but this time it was not because of his music. The American rapper questioned Disney's policy of including LGBTQ+ messages in its children's movies.
The artist stated that the company's content creates confusion among young children and expressed his concern after watching Lightyear with his grandson.

Snoop Dogg's criticism of Disney
On the podcast It’s Giving, the rapper said that his grandson questioned him during the screening of Lightyear. In the movie, Disney and Pixar showed a character raised by two women.
"My grandson asked me: 'Grandpa, how did she have a baby with a woman if she is also a woman?' I did not know what to answer," he said. He added: "I'm afraid to go to the movies, they put me in a situation for which I have no answer."
A more family-oriented perspective
Media outlets such as Page Six and Variety highlighted that the rapper appeared more conservative than in the past. Far from controversy, he now positions himself as a grandfather concerned about what his grandchildren watch.

For Snoop, Disney is taking its agenda to an extreme that leaves out children's innocence. His stance caused support from parents who are calling for less ideologized content in family movies.
