Star Wars plans to revive 'The Clone Wars' with Hayden Christensen and Ewan McGregor
Star Wars is considering a live-action series about the Clone Wars with Christensen and McGregor as protagonists
The Star Wars universe could add a new live-action production centered on the Clone Wars. The proposal would once again bring together Hayden Christensen as Anakin Skywalker and Ewan McGregor as Obi-Wan Kenobi.
At Boston's Fan Expo, Christensen expressed his interest in returning to that key period of the saga. The actor suggested to Disney+ the idea of exploring missions and moments from this top-tier conflict that haven't been told yet.

An iconic era with stories yet to be discovered
The actor highlighted that there are "many fun stories" that could be told. Among them are battles, moral dilemmas, and bonds between characters that shaped the history of the Republic.
For Christensen, wielding a lightsaber alongside McGregor again would be "unbelievable." He also believes this stage would allow for the portrayal of new facets of Anakin before he became Darth Vader.
The potential of a live-action Clone Wars
The animated series The Clone Wars already delved into this period, but a live-action adaptation would add realism and excitement. It could connect the nostalgia of veteran fans with the interest of new generations.

Christensen doesn't rule out other projects, including one focused on Darth Vader. However, his priority is to bring to life lesser-explored stories from the universe created by George Lucas.
Christensen, a key figure in the expansion of Star Wars
His reappearance in Obi-Wan Kenobi and Ahsoka revitalized his image within the fandom. Criticism from the past has been left behind, and today he is seen as a guarantor of continuity and authenticity.

For now, the only confirmed project is his presence in the second season of Ahsoka. However, the possibility of reviving the Clone Wars on Disney+ is already raising expectations among fans.
