The province of Córdoba has been chosen for the first time as the venue for the FIEXPO Latin America Workshop & Technical Visit, a meeting of the meetings industry taking place from August 10 to 13. The event brings together national and international specialists from the MICE sector to carry out work sessions, training, and business rounds. Additionally, the agenda includes technical tours of various spaces dedicated to organizing congresses and conventions in the Córdoba territory.
During the formal opening ceremony, Carolina Adano, director of FIEXPO, along with Vivian Nardone, CEO of FIEXPO, were present. The inaugural ceremony was also attended by Andrés Escandón, Regional Manager of ICCA, and Pamela Cáceres from Blas Pascal University. The executive delegation from the sector was completed with the participation of Andrés Benetti, president of the Córdoba Bureau, accompanied by various representatives of the local tourism activity.
As part of the scheduled activities, the president of the Córdoba Tourism Agency, Darío Capitani, referred to the development of the institutional meeting: “The holding of FIEXPO in Córdoba represents an opportunity to showcase all the potential our province has for the development of meetings tourism, with infrastructure, connectivity, services, and a value chain ready to host large-scale events.” The authorities highlighted the existing logistics conditions in the province to host global corporate initiatives.
