Streaming war: bots, accusations, and a strong statement from Alejandro Fantino

Multiple reports were made about the use of bots to inflate numbers and tarnish other programs

The battle for leadership in the streaming world is reaching a point where it seems there are no limits, and followers fiercely defend their favorite shows, something not seen in a long time. In this context, the confrontation between Nico Occhiato and Migue Granados is reaching worrying levels.

The controversy, which now also includes Alejandro Fantino from Neura, erupted when the X account @RealTimeRating posted an image showing that Luzu TV had recorded a notable increase in its audience, thus surpassing Olga, which had been leading the rankings.

This prompted Nico Occhiato, owner of the show, to come forward with explanations, as several, including Migue Granados, questioned what was happening with the channel of the Telefe host.

"Guys, act natural! In a minute?" Migue posted on his X account, launching a veiled jab full of irony at his rival and reigniting the old rumor of using bots to inflate numbers. Later, Nico Occhiato broke his silence from his own account on the social network, echoing the uproar caused.

"This number isn't real, at this time we usually have 15k less audience. They sent us bots and this account posts this in 2 minutes, very strange," he expressed in his statement. The producer expressed his anger over what he considers a maneuver to tarnish and harm Luzu TV.

With evident anger, Nico Occhiato wrote: "We aren't competing with anyone, we're not interested in beating anyone or bragging about numbers. We just try to make the best possible content for our community. Honestly, it makes me very frustrated that this happens and I try not to get involved, or respond, or anything, but here emotion is getting the better of me and I want to state it."

This morning, the founder of Luzu TV once again backed up his statements with concrete data, exposing an anomaly in the ratings during the broadcast of "FM Luzu," and reiterated that they were hit with bots intending to tarnish their good results.

"Good morning, just stopping by to state that they started this morning sending us bots again, ha, ha, notice that the dotted line is yesterday's audience and the red line is today's. We don't need to do this because we have a real community. Clearly, they're trying to tarnish us," Occhiato denounced.

Fantino's intervention

In this context, host Alejandro Fantino launched harsh criticisms against Migue Granados and got involved in the controversy by denouncing that the "K streaming" of OLGA had sent bots to harm Neura, his own channel.

"Usually, LUZU TV beats OLGA hands down," he shot without filters, referring to the competition between both channels. Fantino went further by pointing out that Granados "can't stand being beaten by Occhiato" and that his goal would be to "take down a fellow channel." In an impassioned tone, he warned: "We can't allow this industry to be ruined by stupid competitors."

However, in the middle of the broadcast where he was talking about Luzu TV and OLGA, Alejandro Fantino experienced a tense moment when he detected in real-time a massive attack with bots against his channel.

According to the host himself during the program, more than 15,000 fake accounts entered the live stream, which led him to interrupt his analysis to denounce a deliberate operation.

"Right now they're sending us bots, there can't be 15,000 people who joined in 2 minutes," he exclaimed visibly upset. "See how dirty this industry plays," he declared.
