La Derecha Diario Strong support from President Javier Milei for Minister Mario Lugones
After the legislative elections in Buenos Aires province, the president praised the health official and reaffirmed the course
Once the results of the legislative elections in the province of Buenos Aires, in which Fuerza Patria prevailed, were known, President Javier Mileiconfirmed the direction of the economy and supported the work being carried out by the different ministries of his government.
In particular, the president highlighted the work in Health, as he specifically praised Minister Mario Lugones.
"We are going to maintain fiscal balance, the exchange rate scheme, deregulation policy, Human Capital, Defense, we are going to continue fighting against insecurity, making reforms in the area of the legal framework, the strong work being done by Minister Lugones," Milei stated Sunday night.
What did Milei say after the defeat in the Buenos Aires legislative elections
The president delivered a six-minute speech accompanied by Lugones, Santiago Caputo, spokesperson Manuel Adorni, and ministers Patricia Bullrich, Luis Petri, Federico Sturzenegger, and Mariano Cuneo Libarona.
"Undoubtedly, in the political arena today we have suffered a clear defeat and if anyone wants to rebuild, what must be done is to accept the results. We have suffered an electoral setback," he added.
"If we have made mistakes from a political standpoint, we are going to correct them and we are going to work to be better," he emphasized.
"I also want to point out to all Argentines that the direction for which we were elected in 2023 will not be changed; it will be redoubled," President Milei said meanwhile.
Milei confirmed the direction of the economic plan
"We are going to continue maintaining our position in the world, standing on the side of good. We are not retreating even a millimeter, the direction is not only confirmed but we are going to accelerate it," he stressed.
The president appeared strong in order to redouble efforts and move forward with the battle to leave behind the backwardness model promoted by Peronism and other forces.
"We are not willing to give up a model that took the inflation rate from 200% to 20%. We are not willing to give up a model that lifted 12 million people out of poverty," he stated.
