Summer in Buenos Aires is experienced with a broad, free, and diverse schedule, designed for residents and tourists to enjoy the City in motion. Under the BA 24 horas program, the season includes extended public transportation hours, safe nighttime options, and a variety of cultural experiences in each district. Highlighted options include musical after-work events, large-scale festivals, youth gatherings, family activities, sports offerings, and a renewed schedule in parks and squares. The program is spread throughout January and February, with outdoor events that take advantage of the weather and green spaces.
Afters BA: music and gastronomy after work

Afters BA becomes an ideal plan to break up the week with music and fresh air. They take place on Wednesdays in January, from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., in different gastronomic corridors:
January 14 in Chacarita (Jorge Newbery between Fraga and Guevara).
January 21 in San Telmo (Humberto 1° and Defensa).
January 28 in Belgrano (Vía Viva Corridor).
These gatherings combine DJs, urban performances, and the culinary offerings of each neighborhood.
Billboard Summer Festival: the first major musical event of the summer
Billboard Summer Festival lands in Parque Berlín on January 16 and 17 starting at 5 p.m. It is the first major musical gathering of the season, with emerging artists and already established figures. Friday's line-up includes La Joaqui, Lit Killah, FMK, Seven Kayne, Rosario Ortega, Alan Lez, and Luana. Saturday will feature Mau y Ricky, Q’ Lokura, Camila Mercado, Tuli Acosta, SER, and Aneley.

The festival promises to turn Bosques de Palermo into an open-air music hub, with free admission and a strong appeal for young audiences.
Sunsets in parks and squares: music, freestyle, and activities
Sunsets transforms green spaces into meeting points from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Saturdays are geared toward young audiences with DJs, indie, pop rock, and urban music. On Sundays the program becomes family-oriented, with peñas, folklore, and a karaoke finale.

January 24 and 25: Parque Los Andes (Chacarita) and Plaza Irlanda (Caballito).
January 31 and February 1: Parque Rivadavia (Caballito) and Parque Ferroviario (Colegiales).
The experience includes freestylers, beatboxers, dancers, bubble artists, a food court, and hydration stations.
Summer in Parque de la Ciudad: 23 hectares of games, sports, and freshness
With lakes, natural trails, and cooling areas, Parque de la Ciudad positions itself as one of the most complete spaces: inflatables, trampolines, water activities, soccer, basketball, volleyball, and recreational tournaments. It operates from Tuesday to Sunday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., with access through Gate 1 (Av. Cruz 4000) and Gate 3 (23 de Junio 4300).
Corrientes 24 horas: nighttime shows on the most iconic avenue
Starting at 10:30 p.m., on Saturdays in January and February, Corrientes Avenue turns into an open-air stage with film screenings, milonga, live music, and pop-up artists.
Dates: January 17, 24, and 31 and February 7, 14, 21, and 28.
Summer in the Squares: activities for children in every district

For five weeks, on Thursdays and Fridays starting at 5 p.m., Buenos Aires squares offer games, workshops, treasure hunts, carousels, and family shows. The program rotates through different districts, including Balvanera, Villa Lugano, Chacarita, Almagro, Parque Avellaneda, Villa Urquiza, Recoleta, Caballito, Villa Luro, La Boca, Palermo, San Telmo, and more.
Summer in the Amphitheaters: urban culture and Asian universes
Designed for teenagers from 13 to 17 years old, this series combines urban dance and music with days dedicated to manga and anime. It takes place in February in three amphitheaters:
12 and 13: Monseñor de Andrea.
19 and 20: Plaza Irlanda.
26 and 27: Parque Chacabuco.
Verano Joven BA: gastronomy, music, and sunsets in Costanera Norte
In Parque Extremo – Costanera Norte (Saint Tropez) a youth-oriented program takes place that blends live music, gastronomy, and sunsets. Programming starts at 5 p.m. on January 24 and 25, and February 21 and 22.
