This sentiment reaches 61% nationwide and rises to 77% among young people, the segment that most supports Milei

The consulting firm Opinaia released a new national survey this Thursday that not only records a strong rebound in the approval of President Javier Milei's administration, but also reveals that a clear majority of Argentinians believe that the current economic effort "is worth it" and that it will bring improvements in the future. This perception, which intensifies among young people, becomes the central focus of the new study and an encouraging sign for the libertarian administration amid its reform program. The survey, conducted between November 3 and 7 on 1,000 cases across the country and the first after the legislative elections of October 26, shows that the image of the ruling party reached its best level since July. Approval of the administration reached 48%, while disapproval stood at 50%, a balance that hadn't been recorded for months and coincides with a shift in economic expectations.

According to the study, 61% of respondents believe that the current economic effort is worth it, either because improvements are already being seen (21%) or because they will be seen in the long term (40%). In contrast, only 39% state that the effort "is not worth it." This trend is amplified among young people, consolidating a segment that not only supports the Government, but also backs its economic roadmap: 77% of Argentinians between 16 and 25 years old believe that the effort is worth it, either because results are already being seen or because they will be seen in the future, compared to a small 23% who reject it. This is the highest level of optimism in the entire survey.

The strong support for Milei among young people and men

This youthful optimism is complemented by the already solid image of the President among that same age group. Among those aged 16 to 25, Milei records a 61% positive image, a growth that had been reflected at the polls and is now deepening in the post-election measurement. Young people continue to be the core base of the libertarian government, both in political identification and in expectations for improvement.

The study also detects a marked difference by gender: the President's positive image reaches 55% among men, but drops to 41% among women. However, in both cases there is an improvement compared to previous measurements. In terms of political figures, Milei once again tops the positive image ranking with 48%, while all government leaders show improvements. The opposition, in contrast, experiences setbacks that demonstrate that La Libertad Avanza managed to capitalize on the electoral result and maintain political initiative. In the electoral arena, the study confirms a polarized scenario looking ahead to 2027: 56% would vote for Milei today, compared to 43% who would opt for a Kirchnerist space. These figures are very similar to those of the 2023 presidential election, suggesting remarkable stability in preferences. Opinaia's report reflects a favorable moment for the libertarian administration: the presidential image improves, economic optimism rises and, above all, the perception that the current effort will be worth it grows significantly.
