According to a survey, this is the age group in which the president achieves his highest numbers
The consulting firm Opinaia released a new national survey this Thursday that marks a favorable shift for Javier Milei's government and consolidates, especially among young people, support that reaches unprecedented levels since mid-year.
The study, conducted between November 3 and 7 on a sample of 1,000 cases across the country, is the first survey after the legislative elections of October 26, and shows that the image of the ruling party achieved its best performance since July and that La Libertad Avanza once again appears as the political space with the greatest capacity for political expansion after the elections.
One of the most relevant findings of the report is the evolution of the President's image. Approval of Milei's administration reached 48%, surpassing previous records and approaching the equilibrium point with respect to the negative view, which stood at 50%. This is the best rating in several months, in a scenario where public opinion had been showing greater caution regarding the economic and political direction.

Support from young people and men
The growth in support for the government has a central component: support from young people. Among people aged 16 to 25 years, Milei records a positive image of 61%, compared to a 37% negative and just 2% undecided.
This is the age group where the President reaches his highest numbers, consolidating a trend that had already been expressed at the polls and that now intensifies after the legislative elections.
The study also detects gender differences. While among women the positive image reaches 41%, among men it rises to 55%, confirming that the male electorate continues to be one of the pillars of support for the ruling party.
Another significant result is that Milei once again positions himself as the leader with the highest positive image in the country, with 48%, while all the ruling party's key figures improve their ratings, according to the report. Meanwhile, the survey reveals a general decline among the main opposition figures, which strengthens the perception that La Libertad Avanza managed to capitalize on the electoral result and maintain a growth dynamic.

The economic dimension, one of the most sensitive factors, also offers favorable signs for Milei's government. The negative assessment of the economy fell to 53%, five points lower than in the previous measurement, and optimism about the future reached 47%, a ten-point jump that marks the best outlook since July. For the first time in months, optimists outnumber pessimists, a key finding for the libertarian administration.
The 2027 presidential elections
Finally, the survey explores political preferences ahead of the 2027 presidential elections. Polarization between Milei and Kirchnerism persists: 56% of respondents state they would vote for the current President, compared to 43% who would lean toward a Peronist option linked to Cristina Kirchner and Axel Kicillof. These figures are practically identical to the result of the 2023 elections.
This way, Opinaia's study shows a scenario where the government regains political momentum, improves its economic indicators, and consolidates, especially among young people, support that remains its main driver of growth.
