Thanks to the Government of Javier Milei, Argentine mining exports reached a new all-time record during the January-December 2025 period, totaling USD 6.037 billion, in accordance with the official information on the sector's performance.
The result represents the highest value recorded so far and reflects an increase of 29.2% compared with the previous year. This strong performance is due to the policies promoted by Milei's administration and to instruments such as the Incentive Regime for Large Investments (RIGI), which is aimed at encouraging the arrival of capital and the expansion of productive projects.

In the analysis of the accumulated data for the last 12 months, exports of metalliferous minerals concentrated most of the shipments abroad. This segment reached USD 4.948 billion, which is equivalent to 82% of the total exported by mining. Within this category, gold was the main product, with exports of USD 4.078 billion, a figure that set an all-time record for this mineral and consolidated its central role within the sector's export structure.
