The Elder Scrolls VI
In an interview with Game Informer, Todd Howard confirmed that most of the studio is already working on The Elder Scrolls VI. According to his explanation, the full focus arrived after closing the main content and strong support for Starfield.
The director acknowledged that progress is solid, although he emphasized that this is a development that can't be rushed.
"It's moving along well, but it needs time"
Howard was clear when speaking about timing:everyone would like the game to come out sooner, but the goal is to do it right. "It's a long process and we want it to be worth it," he summarized.

In the same vein, design director Emil Pagliarulo defended the decision not to take unnecessary risks.
The comparison with GTA and Rockstar
Pagliarulo compared Bethesda's situation with what is happening at Rockstar and the development of GTA. "Do you want something quick and weak or a game that spends time in the oven and comes out well?" he asked.

He also emphasized that delays, when they are necessary, are usually smart long-term decisions.
A technical leap that promises to define an era
The studio director, Angela Browder, focused on the technological aspect. According to her explanation, current hardware allows a level of rendering and detail that was unthinkable in the Skyrim era.
To illustrate this, she compared the evolution between Oblivion and its remaster, highlighting how far the studio's engine has advanced.
