Marcelo César Martínez, president of the provincial Golf Federation, was charged by the Córdoba judiciary with continuous and aggravated sexual abuse involving carnal access. The complaint was filed by a former 27-year-old cleaning employee who worked at the institution's headquarters located in Villa Allende. The accusation was made by the Second Shift Sexual Integrity Crimes Prosecutor's Office.
Prosecutor Ingrid Vago also ordered a restraining order prohibiting the accused from approaching the victim and a ban on leaving the country. The case investigation included psychological evaluations, witness statements, and testimonies from individuals connected to the work environment. The preliminary hearing was scheduled for the coming days, where the accused will be able to present his defense.
The court file indicates that the events allegedly occurred over more than a year and a half, within the Federation's facilities. The young woman (identified as K. M. A.) reported having been a victim of harassment and repeated sexual abuse. The aggravating factor is based on the psychological harm confirmed by forensic experts.

Account of the events and complaint filed
The victim stated that she began working at the institution at the beginning of 2022, performing cleaning tasks in offices and maintenance areas. According to the complaint, Martínez took advantage of moments when she was alone to lock himself in with her in rooms without cameras or windows. A coworker stated that she began to notice strange behavior and decided to accompany her through the legal process.
The victim's attorney, María Martha Terragno, explained that the case falls within a situation of abuse of power in the workplace. According to her testimony, at first the accused promised her a job promotion and the possibility of a permanent position in the public administration. "He told her that he had contacts and could get her a job, but over time that became a way to keep her under his control," Terragno said.
When the woman decided to end the relationship of subjugation, threats and pressure began, according to the complaint. Terragno added: "When she said 'no,' he told her: 'It will be yes, and if not, you're leaving.'" From then on, the episodes of harassment and abuse intensified until the victim finally resigned from her job in December 2023.
Actualmente, el acusado sigue en funciones al frente de la Federación de Golf de Córdoba
Conflicting positions and judicial developments
Martínez's defense, led by Justiniano Martínez, confirmed that the official was formally notified of the charge. The attorney categorically denied the accusations and asserted that his client "never had sexual contact with the complainant". He also maintained that witnesses mention the official's authoritarian character, but without references to sexual behavior.
"The witnesses who appeared in the labor case refer to Martínez's strong or authoritarian character, but none mentioned situations related to abuse or insinuations," the defense attorney stated. He also clarified that the complainant filed a parallel labor lawsuit against the Federation seeking compensation and damages.
Prosecutors indicated that the process will continue with the evaluation of the evidence collected and the inclusion of new expert reports. The victim, who is currently receiving psychological assistance and union support, is experiencing severe depression. Meanwhile, the accused remains in charge of the Córdoba Golf Federation and participates in institutional activities.
