The countdown for the return of Big Brother has already begun. Looking ahead to the 2026 edition, titled "Golden Generation", the production team is moving forward with a deep renovation that will modify emblematic spaces and change the dynamics of coexistence.
The host of the show, Santiago del Moro, shared images on his social media of the current state of the work and surprised fans. The most striking transformation is the removal of the classic pool located in the center of the patio, one of the most iconic spots of recent seasons.
"People ask me about the BB house all the time. I'll tell you: where there used to be a pool, now there's a big hole (that gets bigger every day) haha! Get ready! See you February 2026", wrote the presenter alongside the photos that quickly caused speculation.
The famous "island" that is coming to Big Brother
The disappearance of the traditional pool marks a break with the aesthetics of previous years. In its place, the production team is working on a different proposal that would include a heated pool and an artificial island with sand, a space designed so that the players can get into the water in a completely revamped environment.
In addition, it emerged that the gym area, which in previous editions functioned as a strategic point for meetings and conversations, could be replaced or relocated within the new design.
