The countdown for the return of Gran Hermano Argentina has already begun. The new edition, titled Gran Hermano: Golden Generation, will debut on Monday, February 23, 2026 at 10:15 p.m. and promises changes in the dynamics, in the set design, and in the profile of the participants.
Amid the anticipation for the premiere, in the last few hours the amount that the contestants would earn for each week they remain inside the house was leaked.
The information was released on a Jotax Digital streaming, where journalist Santiago Sposato revealed the base amount that the players would receive.
"Do you want to know how much a Gran Hermano participant earns as a base? The one who is going to earn the least," he stated in the broadcast, before detailing the payment system: "It is paid per week. In other words, when you leave, they are going to tell you 'you were there for 17 weeks, this is what you are entitled to'."
Meanwhile, at the table they were speculating with amounts ranging from 500,000 to 800,000 pesos per week, Sposato surprised everyone by confirming the figure that, according to him, would be the floor for all participants: 137,000 pesos per week.
The figure caused immediate debate on social media, where many users considered that the amount is low if one takes into account the constant exposure and the level of audience that the show usually has.

What is known about Gran Hermano: Golden Generation
One of the already confirmed details is the return of Santiago del Moro as host. The presenter will once again lead the live galas and the decisive moments of the game, just as he did in the latest seasons broadcast by Telefe.
Regarding the casting, the production is keeping things under wraps, although there are rumors about a possible combination of historic former players with new entertainment figures, celebrities, and even athletes.
The isolation will begin toward the end of February and, as usual, the audience will be able to follow strategies, alliances, and conflicts practically in real time.
The new season will not only introduce a change of players. It will also involve a comprehensive transformation of the house.
Among the most talked-about changes is the removal of the classic pool to make room for an artificial beach, which foreshadows a renewed aesthetic and possible modifications in the weekly challenges.
