The Department of Justice of the United States is in the process of dismantling the special offices created by Biden that were used to pursue Trump during his presidential campaign.
Prior to the start of the weekend, Attorney General Pam Bondi had already signed the dismissal telegrams for more than 20 judicial officials who work in the offices of North Carolina and Florida.
The dismissed individuals were identified through an internal investigation, where it was proven that these officials worked hand in hand with Democratic leadership to fabricate cases against Republican figures.

Jack Smith, Biden's workhorse
The staff dismissed in recent days worked under the orders of Prosecutor Jack Smith, who attempted to imprison Trump and disqualify him during the Biden era.
At the same time, the White House was pressuring the Judiciary to initiate the prosecution against its Republican adversary, it was Merrick Garland, then Attorney General, who appointed Smith as special prosecutor for the cases concerning the current president.
In 2023, the Democratic operative criminally charged Trump with having conspired with his voters to prevent Biden from taking office and with having illegally possessed at his Mar-a-Lago residence classified documents based on a scheme to obstruct the functioning of justice.
As a last attempt to save their positions, Smith's team dropped the charges filed against Trump after the results of the latest presidential elections became known and it became evident that Democrats would lose the White House, although that did not prevent Smith from resigning from his position.

Trump purges the Judiciary
The dismissals are taking place as part of a restructuring that Trump, upon returning to the White House, ordered to purge the entrenched Democratic activists in the American judiciary for decades.
In total, since January, 14 attorneys have been dismissed who reported to the aforementioned Prosecutor Smith and who worked on the two cases that were brought against Trump.
Including the staff dismissed this Friday, the number of collaborators of the Democratic prosecutor who will no longer be part of the federal Judiciary rises to 37.
In June, another three prosecutors who had participated in a case in which the right-wing group Proud Boys was harassed were released from their positions. Bondi also dismissed an attorney who served as the spokesperson for the Washington D.C. prosecutors' office.
