Chef Christian Petersen began a new phase of his recovery after being transferred on Friday, December 26, in an air ambulance from San Martín de los Andes to the City of Buenos Aires.
After days of absolute secrecy from his closest circle, the information began to become clearer following an official statement from Hospital Alemán, the institution where Petersen was admitted to continue his treatment.

The medical report, signed by Doctor Norberto Mezzadri, medical director of the center, confirmed that the transfer was carried out without incident and that the patient arrived in stable condition.
"Yesterday afternoon, after a medical transfer carried out without complications, patient CP was admitted to Hospital Alemán in Buenos Aires to continue his care in a higher-complexity center", the text released by the institution states.
It explains that, once he arrived, the cook was evaluated by an interdisciplinary medical team, which adjusted the treatment according to his progress, ensuring continuity of care and respecting the confidentiality of the clinical information.

The transfer to Buenos Aires took place after a critical hospitalization in Hospital Ramón Carrillo in San Martín de los Andes, where the chef remained in intensive care.
The initial episode occurred on December 12, when the expedition guide detected signs of extreme exhaustion and activated a rescue operation.
In that first medical contact, atrial fibrillation was diagnosed, a potentially serious cardiac arrhythmia, which subsequently led to multiple organ failure, significantly complicating his overall condition.
According to the statement, the new treatment in Buenos Aires will be aimed at addressing the aftereffects of that multiple organ failure, with exhaustive monitoring of his vital functions and permanent checks typical of a high-complexity center.
Hospital Alemán emphasized that they are supporting the family and that they will maintain continuous institutional communication, always within the limits imposed by the patient's privacy.
In this process, the presence of his wife, Sofía Zelaschi, continues to be an essential support, as does the accompaniment of his closest circle, which has repeatedly highlighted the work carried out by the medical teams who treated him in the province of Neuquén.
