Upcoming surprise-themed expansions for Pokémon TCG Pocket revealed

The new Hidden Spring of Pokémon TCG Pocket expansion is now available and promises to shake up the game's meta with the arrival of the legendary dogs and more than a hundred new cards.

This update not only adds playable content, but also reveals key information about the upcoming sets that will arrive in 2025.

Confirmed dates for upcoming sets

Thanks to the data revealed in the latest update and recent leaks, the dates and themes of the next Pokémon TCG Pocket expansions are already known:

• Expansion Set A4b – Baby Pokémon mini-expansion. Release: September 30, 2025.
• Expansion Set B1 – Mega Evolution expansion. Release: October 30, 2025.

The first will be a mini-expansion, similar to Hidden Spring, while the second will have the weight of a main set like Marine Saber or Celeste.

Mega Evolutions to celebrate the anniversary

The release of expansion B1 will not be just another one: it will arrive on October 30, 2025, coinciding with the first anniversary of Pokémon TCG Pocket. According to The Pokémon Company, this set will bring Mega Evolution cards, although additional surprises are also expected to celebrate the date.

With the arrival of the legendary dogs in Hidden Spring and the confirmation of new sets, Pokémon TCG Pocket is preparing for a stage full of new features.  Players can already start planning their new competitive decks for the upcoming releases that will set the course of the game in the coming months.
