The murder of Celso Ariel Colman, a young man of 19 years, which occurred on February 13 in La Matanza, caused great shock, highlighting not only the growing violence in the region but also the serious situation in the province of the ultra-Kirchnerist Axel Kicillof.
Colman, who was expecting to become a father, was attacked around 10 PM at the intersection of Escribano Street and Route 3, in the town of Virrey del Pino, by four criminals traveling on two motorcycles.
The assailants, armed, threatened him to steal his white and black Zanella Due 110cc motorcycle. However, when they saw that Colman tried to defend himself, the criminals shot him twice in the left armpit, leaving him seriously injured. Despite medical efforts at the hospital, Colman did not survive the injuries.
The incident was recorded by security cameras in the area, which allowed the DDI officers of La Matanza to track the suspects.
