Federal judge Daniel Rafecas ordered the search of a mansion located in Villa Rosa, Pilar this Friday. This property was reported as the alleged property of supposed front men for the President of AFA, Claudio "Chiqui" Tapia.
The procedure began early this morning and the focus of the operation is to comprehensively survey and appraise the property. The property consists of an estate noted for its level of luxury and its facilities.
According to judicial sources, six experts specifically appointed for the appraisal are working at the site. Three of them belong to the Supreme Court of Justice and the other three to the San Isidro Auctioneers Association.

In addition, it was ordered to film the entire property and take photographs, with the aim of documenting each area and ensuring a thorough record of what was found. More than 50 vehicles and other luxury goods were found inside the property, which will also be appraised and surveyed.
Since the beginning of the case, the site has been guarded by the Federal Police. In this context, a report added to the file indicates that the investigated company would have 59 vehicles registered in its name, including high-end units and collector cars.
The investigators suspected that some of these assets could be stored in warehouses within the same estate. These suspicions were confirmed as the search progressed throughout Friday.
Who is listed as the owner and what is the judiciary investigating
The mansion is registered under the name "Real Central SA", linked to Luciano Pantano and his mother, Ana Conte. Both are being investigated as alleged front men for senior AFA officials. Interestingly, Pantano is listed as a self-employed taxpayer and Conte is retired.
The land registry records of Buenos Aires province detail a chain of transfers. The residence was reportedly acquired by Carlos Tevez in July 2017, and six years later it would have passed to the company MALTE SRL.
Then, less than a year later, on May 30, 2024, it was purchased by "Real Central SRL", currently in the name of Pantano and Conte. In this context, Rafecas expanded the investigation and lifted the tax secrecy of "MALTE SRL".
The complaint filed by the Civic Coalition describes a property with a training track for horses, stud farm with Arabian and thoroughbred racehorses, its own helipad, and multiple sports facilities.

More searches in Pilar and measures against those under investigation
The operation in Villa Rosa is in addition to another procedure carried out in a gated community in Pilar, where there are two properties in the name of the same company. The result there was "positive" and documentation was seized.
Among the items surveyed, payment receipts for maintenance fees in the name of "Real Central" during 2025 are mentioned, but from another company, "WICCA SA", during 2024. As a result of this finding, Rafecas ordered another search in the administrative offices of the gated community "Ayres Plaza".
Pantano and his mother are prohibited from leaving the country, and their assets and bank accounts have been frozen. According to the complaint, Pantano was president of the Argentine Futsal Association and held a position in the treasury of Club Almirante Brown.
It was also indicated that, at the time of the judicial filing, he had a bank debt of just over 2,000,000 pesos. In Conte's case, it was stated that she is retired and self-employed, and that during the pandemic she received the IFE.

In this scenario, the Civic Coalition reported "the possible use of the company as a front for third-party assets", with elements that "allow the inference of the possible commission of the crime of money laundering through the concealment and disguise of the origin of assets of high economic value".
Suspicions about who the real owners of the property and luxury cars might be are also supported by testimonies from neighbors who claim to have frequently seen the head of AFA at the site.
