The love story between Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck, once one of Hollywood's most followed, ended not only with headlines but also with a luxurious property on the market.
Located in the exclusive Beverly Crest neighborhood, the residence was purchased in 2022 for an amount close to 61 million dollars, according to celebrity and real estate media at the time. However, the dream of sharing that home never materialized: neither Lopez nor Affleck ever lived there as a couple.
El precio de la vivienda debió ser rebajado tras la falta de compradores
A modern palace with everything included
The mansion, which covers about 3,500 square meters (38,000 square feet), was designed with every imaginable comfort. It sits on a five-acre lot and features:
12 bedrooms
24 bathrooms
A garage for 12 vehicles
Large outdoor swimming pool
Fully equipped gym
A sports complex with basketball and pickleball courts
La pareja no llegó a habitar el lugar
Additionally, it has multiple entertainment spaces, state-of-the-art home automation technology, and privileged views of Los Angeles.
According to the specialized site Mansion Global, the mansion was recently listed for sale at 52 million dollars, that is, almost 9 million less than what the pop star and the Batman actor paid at the time.
The price reduction did not go unnoticed and would be related not only to the high-end real estate market context but also to both parties' desire to close a chapter that, according to those close to them, did not turn out as they expected.
Despite having invested in the property with the intention of establishing their permanent home there after their much-discussed reconciliation, various sources close to the couple stated that the mansion ended up being more a symbol of pressure than of stability.
Some reports indicate that it was precisely during the moving and construction process of that "love nest" where the first tensions in the relationship began.
