The president of the United States again warned Tehran in case it carries out an attack on his life
The President of the United States, Donald Trump, warned the terrorist regime of Iran on Tuesday night by asserting that the country would be "wiped off the face of the Earth" if Tehran attempts to carry out an attack on his life.
During an interview with the NewsNation network, Trump was asked about the threats coming from the Islamic Republic and stated that he has already issued clear orders in the event of any potential attack. "I have very firm instructions. If anything happens, they are going to be wiped off the face of the Earth", the President stated, emphasizing that Washington's response would be immediate and total.
The head of state maintained that the warning was communicated directly and without any room for ambiguity. In that regard, he insisted that the United States will not tolerate any kind of aggression against him. "They shouldn't do it, but I left them a notice: whatever happens, we are going to blow up, the whole country is going to blow up into the air", he stated during the television interview.

The U.S. President reiterated that, in the event of an attack, the reaction would not be partial or limited, but rather a full response by the United States Armed Forces.
Hours earlier, Iranian authorities had replied to the White House warnings. General Abolfazl Shekarchi, spokesman for the Iranian armed forces, directly threatened the U.S. President and his country.
"Trump knows that if any hand of aggression is extended toward our leader, we will not only cut off that hand, but we will also set his world on fire", Shekarchi declared, in a threat that deepened the war of words between the two powers.

Trump recalled that this is not the first time he has issued such warnings against Iran. As he indicated, he had already made similar statements in the past. A year ago, shortly after returning to the White House, the President had told reporters: "If they do it, they will be annihilated", referring to possible Iranian actions against the United States or against its political leadership.
In the same interview with NewsNation, the President also targeted his predecessor, Democrat Joe Biden, whom he accused of failing to respond firmly to Iran's previous threats. "He didn't say anything", Trump maintained, questioning the attitude of the previous administration.
The Republican President stressed that the central role of a head of state is to defend his country and its leaders from external threats. "A President has to defend another President. If I were here and they threatened someone, even if that person were not a President, as they did with me, I would hit them hard", he stated.
