During his speech at the World Economic Forum in Davos, President Donald Trump announced that in the short term legal proceedings would be initiated for the fraud committed in the 2020 United States presidential election, an event that had geopolitical consequences on a global level.
In his speech before international leaders, Trump stated that those responsible for the electoral theft would be brought to justice. “Soon there will be people who are prosecuted for what they did. It will probably be breaking news, but it should be! It was a rigged election,” he said.
The president directly linked the electoral fraud to the development of international conflicts, particularly to the war in Ukraine. When referring to that conflict, he stated: “It is a war that should never have started and would not have started if the 2020 United States presidential election had not been rigged. It was a rigged election.”
In that same passage he added: “Everyone knows it now. They found out. Soon there will be people prosecuted for what they did.” Trump then reinforced his position in a categorical way: “It is a rigged election. You can't have rigged elections,” he insisted.

The 2020 electoral fraud
Among the elements that surrounded the electoral fraud, the use of mail-in voting stood out, a system promoted by the Democratic Party during the election. This mechanism, implemented by companies close to Democratic leaders, was identified as one of the central factors that suspiciously benefited then-candidate Joe Biden.
The usual explanation indicated that Biden voters used mail-in voting more frequently. However, in certain states there were situations that caused strong suspicions, such as cases in which 100% of mail-in votes were assigned to the Democratic candidate, a statistically unlikely result.

Serious irregularities were also reported in Wayne County, Michigan, where 14,000 votes were cast in favor of Biden corresponding to deceased people, which deepened the complaints about the legitimacy of the process.
During the count, there were also reports of incidents in different polling centers where the doors and windows were closed and covered, preventing public oversight of the tally.
In decisive states such as Pennsylvania and Michigan, it was reported that Republican observers were prevented from closely monitoring the process, which could have allowed the inclusion of illegal votes during the count.
