President Donald Trump stated this Tuesday in a cabinet meeting that the average American worker has seen their salary increase by more than $500 so far this year, an economic pace not seen in six decades.
"Wages for manual workers are now rising at the fastest rate in 60 years, which is very important for all of us at this table. The average American worker has already seen a $500 increase in their salary this year," Trump told the press.
Trump emphasized that the inflation inherited from Biden's administration is stabilizing thanks to the work of ministers Doug Burgum and Chris Wright, who lead the Departments of the Interior and Energy, respectively. This allows wages to outpace inflation.

The president highlighted the drop in food prices.
"There is no inflation because there have been price drops, tremendous decreases, thanks to Doug and Chris, and the great work they've done with energy. Thank you very much," said the head of the White House. "I see that the price per barrel is close to $60, and soon it's going to break that minimum, and that has a great impact," he added.
The American president also noted that food prices have decreased, thanking Secretary of Agriculture Brooke Rollins for her performance. "The energy has dropped significantly, food has dropped significantly, eggs have dropped significantly. Thank you very much, Madam Secretary. You've done a great job. I appreciate it," the president said.
Economics experts are already talking about a "workers' revolution" in the Trump era. "We're seeing a boom among manual workers. We have an annualized increase of 1.4% so far this year, which represents the second fastest start for an administration in the last 60 years," said Jeffrey Lavorgna, advisor to Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent.
