The President of the United States, Donald Trump, stated that his administration is examining the escalation of transgender violence occurring across the country and doesn't rule out adopting certain measures to stop this epidemic.
After attending the memorial service honoring the life and legacy of Charlie Kirk, where approximately 90,000 people and the entire presidential cabinet filled an American football stadium in Arizona, the president answered questions from the press while boarding Air Force One.
In that exchange, Trump indicated that "something is happening" regarding the violence cultivated within the transgender community. The president mentioned the murder of Kirk, which was committed by a left-wing terrorist whose partner was a transgender person, and Robin Westman, the transgender individual who shot children at a Catholic school in Minneapolis last month.

Trump spoke about the attempted assassination of Kavanaugh
Additionally, last Friday the outlet The Daily Wire reported that Nicholas Roske, the man who attempted in 2022 to kill Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh, also identifies as a transgender woman according to a filing by his defense attorneys while he is awaiting trial.
"We have to protect our Supreme Court justices," Trump said in response to that event. "Justice Kavanaugh is a great guy. He has been through a lot with this." The Republican leader emphasized that the magistrate did not have adequate protection during the administration of his predecessor Joe Biden.

The White House promises additional measures
During a press conference this Monday, White House spokesperson Karoline Leavitt followed the president's lead and stated that transgender violence is "definitely something worth investigating". "I think anyone who denies that at this point is being deliberately ignorant," the official said.
"This administration is taking all causes of violence seriously and why these individuals are driven to such evil and so much hatred. There are probably many answers to that question, but the administration is truly focused on all of them," Leavitt said, adding that the Department of Justice and the FBI are leading this investigation.
"But regarding this general violence and domestic terrorism that we're seeing, the White House and the President's policy team will lead the way," she stated. "And that really begins with the designation of Antifa as a national terrorist organization. I can assure you that there are additional actions to come," Leavitt concluded.
