The plan presented by the White House this Monday in the Oval Office to end the war in Gaza and establish a period of peace in the Middle East has the support of Israel and the Arab nations.
The president of the United States, Donald Trump, outlined a plan that includes the return of all Israeli hostages—both those who have died and those who are still alive—the complete demilitarization of the Gaza Strip, and the destruction of Hamas as an organization.
In a press conference, Trump announced that Israel had accepted the scheme consisting of 20 points. "Today is a historic day for peace. Prime Minister Netanyahu and I have just concluded an important meeting on vital issues, including Iran, trade, the expansion of the Abraham Accords, and, most importantly, we discussed how to end the war in Gaza."

Arab countries support Trump's plan
"I also want to thank Prime Minister Netanyahu for agreeing to the plan and for trusting that if we work together, we can put an end to the death and destruction we've seen for so many years," the president added.
Among the Arab nations that endorsed this plan are, among others, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, United Arab Emirates, Jordan, and Türkiye. "Under the plan, Arab and Muslim countries have committed to demilitarizing Gaza and dismantling the military capabilities of Hamas and all other terrorist organizations," Trump said.
The Republican leader indicated that he trusts his Arab counterparts to implement this disarmament plan immediately. "We trust the countries I named and others to deal with Hamas. I'm hearing that Hamas also wants this to be done," the president continued.
