Spokesperson Karoline Leavitt confirmed on Thursday that President Donald Trump will set the final deadline for the terrorist organization Hamas to accept the peace proposal developed together with Israel. The president had already indicated that he would give the terrorist group between three and four days to respond to the document.
The "Trump Plan" includes key conditions: an immediate ceasefire, the release of all hostages within 72 hours, the disarmament of Hamas, and a gradual withdrawal of the Israeli army from Gaza.
Netanyahu supports the plan and warns about Hamas's response
During the presentation in Washington, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu publicly supported the initiative and warned that, if Hamas rejects the proposal or attempts to sabotage it, Israel will complete the military offensive on its own.

The agreement also provides for the creation of a transitional authority led by Trump together with former British Prime Minister Tony Blair, with international support.
International reactions to the Trump Plan
The announcement caused immediate reactions in the international community. Eight Arab and Muslim countries—Egypt, Jordan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Türkiye, Indonesia, and Pakistan—highlighted the "sincere efforts" of the proposal.
