The vice president of the Ciclón's Extraordinary Assembly strongly questioned the president's return after the court ruling that reinstated him to office
The return of Marcelo Moretti to the presidency of San Lorenzo, endorsed by the Civil Chamber after considering the club's leadership vacuum as "irregular", caused a major internal shock. Club officials and fans expressed their discontent with the judicial decision, and among the harshest voices was Ulises Morales, vice president of the Extraordinary Assembly, who launched a scathing criticism against the official.
"It was an unfortunate conversation, in bad terms. I believe that Moretti, before taking office, should undergo a psychiatric evaluation. He is not mentally prepared," Morales said in an interview with Radio La Red.
He continued: "He sent me a message mocking me because he is coming back. Do you think the club's situation is something to make fun of? It is pathetic. I believe he is not well, he is a person who blatantly lies."
As the interview progressed, the official's tone became even more forceful: "He mocks me to my face when I am here with the rest of the board holding up against this storm, facing the situation and trying to straighten everything out," he recounted, before clarifying that he doesn't intend to engage in provocations: "I told him what I thought and what I was going to do. He is not aware of the damage he is causing."

The judicial measure ordering Moretti to be reinstated as president and suspending the effects of the previous Assembly was also strongly questioned by Morales: "In Argentine justice, it is easier to delay than to speed up; the criminal justice system is working, but every appeal, every trick, is constantly being used by Moretti and at some point he will fall."
Finally, the official targeted the previous administration of the blaugrana leader, marked by internal conflicts and economic debts: "Being very generous, there are facts that are not regular in Moretti. The member must understand that his administration was the worst in history." He concluded with a warning: "He lies by saying that there are members of the Board of Directors who support him, and it is quite the opposite. One can't lie so much, how long will he keep lying?"
