An important ISIS terrorist leader was killed last night during a joint operation between the United States and Syria in Idlib province, in the northwest of the country, various sources reported this Wednesday.
The target of the attack was an Iraqi citizen identified as Salah Noman, considered one of the "most dangerous" individuals due to his involvement in the activation of Islamic State cells and in facilitating their movements within the country, according to a security source who spoke to Syrian state television Al Ekhbariya.
According to the source, who requested anonymity, Noman was located in a house in the village of Alma, where he had moved with his wife, a son, and his mother, after previously being pursued by the Syrian Internal Security Service in another area of the same province.

According to a statement from the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, the operation lasted approximately an hour and a half. "It is unknown whether the non-Syrian women accompanying the commander were arrested by the General Security forces (Syrian) or by the international coalition forces," the organization stated.
