The day on Tuesday, June 3, began with a mystery that kept Gran Hermano fans on edge. Early on, Santiago del Moro revealed on his Instagram account that one of the guests would be expelled from the house. The official confirmation arrived hours later, during the broadcast of the show on Telefe, where it was announced that Petrona had to leave the reality show immediately.
The decision surprised both viewers and the participants themselves. According to the production, Petrona broke two central rules of the game: she provided information from the outside to the players and, in addition, brought cigarettes into the house without authorization.
The expulsion was communicated during a general meeting in the living room, where all the contestants were summoned to hear the verdict. In a firm tone, Gran Hermano's voice explained the reasons: "For breaking the rules of the game, I have decided to expel Petrona from my house. In addition, you brought in cigarettes when that was not allowed. With immediate effect, I ask you to leave the house and then we will bring you all your belongings."

Far from resisting, Petrona accepted the decision without confrontation, which allowed for a calm but nonetheless impactful exit. Several of her fellow contestants were shocked by the unexpected departure.
The host of the show also gave his opinion on the matter. "In addition to talking and going way too far, she did something forbidden, which is bringing in cigarettes," Del Moro stated, confirming that the participant not only broke the rules by sharing information from the outside, but also committed a material infraction.
However, the consequences did not end there. The official statement also made it clear that Katia, who had a close relationship with Petrona, would be affected by this behavior. "I also regret that Katia is affected by your actions, because now you can't obtain immunity next week and in these nominations you can only cast a single vote," they announced.
This seriously affects the player just three weeks before the grand finale. Trying to calm things down outside, Petrona Jerez assured that she will do everything possible to help her teammate with the votes. "We're going to support her from outside," she emphasized.
