The union members are protesting the lack of payment for a salary item
As has been happening throughout the entire administration of Córdoba Mayor Daniel Passerini, the urban transportation in the city continues to offer a deficient and irregular service.
Now, the Unión Tranviarios Automotor union has decided on a series of assemblies that disrupt the routes in protest over the lack of payment of a salary item.
Adrián Lentini, spokesperson for the union, reported that the companies' noncompliance has persisted for two months without a solution from the Provincial Ministry of Labor.
"This Thursday we were summoned and the companies didn't come; we're free to act," Lentini said.
The lines affected this Thursday are 70, 72, and 74, which belong to Grupo Fam.
The union doesn't rule out new measures for next week if there is no progress in the negotiation.
