Concern about Cris Morena has once again become a topic in the media after harrowing details emerged regarding the harassment she has suffered since 2020 by a 51-year-old man, identified as Leandro Lo Giudice.
According to the ongoing judicial investigation, the accused spent years collecting hand-drawn maps, notes, and collages related to the producer, items that were seized during a recent raid.
Given the repeated incidents and the failure to comply with previous measures, the court imposed a restraining order and the use of an electronic ankle monitor, since Lo Giudice continued to appear near her home and workplace.
On A la Tarde (América TV), they even aired a video showing the man—with his face blurred—walking on the sidewalk across from Cris's house.
Valentín Yankelevich's statement: how the family is coping with the situation
"This has been going on for quite a while; it's not new to us. It's not that I've been supporting her for just a week; we've been doing this for a long time," he said, emphasizing that the family remains united to support her.
"We provide her with support. She hasn't had a good time, but she has always relied on us. As far as I know, the necessary steps have already been taken, and I believe everything is solved. But the fear she has felt or may continue to feel will remain within the family," he added.
Los nietos de Cris Morena sabían desde hace más de 10 años sobre la presencia de esta misteriosa persona que los atormentaba
When the reporter asked him whether he thought Cris Morena is still afraid or if the recent court order brings relief, Valentín was honest: "My grandmother is a very strong woman. If I talk about fear, I'm referring to a specific situation; I don't know if she lives in fear every day. She has always faced life with significant strength. I haven't spoken to her about it in the last few days, but I'm sure she's calm now that the necessary steps have been taken."
Valentín also confirmed that it was not just a single isolated incident: "There were several instances of harassment that she experienced from this man. She suffered a lot."
He concluded with a reflection on the accused: "Clearly, this is the madness of a person who has problems. I only support my grandmother."
