Valeria Márquez's crime: the hitman's escape and the sinister bouquet with a 'sorry'
The influencer was murdered live. The cameras captured the escape, and an unsettling message appeared in her honor
The murder of Valeria Márquez, a 22-year-old Mexican influencer, shook all of Jalisco. The young woman was executed with three shots during a live broadcast on TikTok. The incident occurred on Tuesday, May 13, at the Blossom The Beauty Lounge, where the victim was interacting with her followers.
The chilling images showed the exact moment of the crime: a man burst in, asked "Are you Valeria?" and shot without hesitation. The attack, according to initial investigations, was a contract killing.
The hitman fled on a motorcycle and another accomplice in a car
The authorities accessed recordings from the Escudo Urbano C5 system. These revealed that the strikers escaped in two different vehicles: one on a motorcycle, the other in a white car.

The governor of Jalisco, Pablo Lemus Navarro, confirmed that they identified the escape route and have a composite sketch of the killer. He also assured that they had "precise data" on both involved.
The Prosecutor's Office interviewed more than 20 people from Valeria's circle, including family and witnesses. Among the next to be summoned is Vivian de la Torre, the friend who sent her a stuffed animal and a drink just before the murder.
Three lines of investigation and a sinister message
So far, there is no formal accusation, but the authorities handled at least three lines of investigation. One hypothesis suggests that the striker did not personally know Valeria, reinforcing the idea of a hitman.

Spokesperson Denis Rodríguez denied links between the victim and organized crime. Specifically, he refuted rumors linking Márquez to the CJNG and one of its leaders, Ricardo "Doble R" Ruiz Velasco.
Days after the crime, a macabre element appeared: someone left a bouquet of red roses with a card that said "sorry" at the beauty salon's door.
The arrangement was delivered by a delivery person from an app, according to the anonymous client's instructions. The prosecutor's office secured the location and incorporated the event into the investigation, without confirming whether it was a symbolic act or part of the crime.
