Vampire Crawlers: The Turbo Wildcard from Vampire Survivors, the new spin-off developed by Poncle, will have a free demo available starting February 23 for Xbox Series and PC through Steam. The full release is scheduled for before July 2026 and will include versions for PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, iOS, and Android, in addition to its inclusion in Game Pass from day one.
The project expands the Vampire Survivors universe with a different proposal, focused on turn-based tactical combat and deckbuilding, without losing the frenetic pace that characterized the original title.
A turn-based combat system without downtime
One of Vampire Crawlers' main innovations is its combat system called turboturn. Unlike traditional tactical games, where actions are interrupted by mandatory animations, this system allows players to accumulate actions and execute them immediately, maintaining a constant flow of gameplay.
The result is a more dynamic experience, where the player can chain movements, abilities, and attacks without artificial interruptions. The video game manages actions with precision, allowing each match to unfold at the user's pace, which is unusual within the genre.

This approach redefines turn-based strategy, eliminating unnecessary waiting times and reinforcing the feeling of total control over the development of combat.
Cards, gems, and deep customization
Another central pillar of the game is its advanced customization system. Vampire Crawlers introduces a gem-based scheme that allows players to modify cards beyond simple damage or stat upgrades.
Gems can alter multipliers, add special effects, or even trigger complete evolutions in weapons, enabling complex synergies and unique combinations. Each player will be able to choose between strengthening basic attacks or designing elaborate strategies based on combos and chains of effects.
