The 58th edition of the Festival Internacional de Peñas concluded its activity on Tuesday, February 10, with significant attendance figures. The event recorded a total movement of 630,000 people over the 5 nights of shows and the external circuit. This influx consolidated the venue as an engine of commercial and tourist activity for the area.
The demand for accommodations reached 100% occupancy in the city during the central days of the show. The flow of visitors caused spending that benefited neighboring towns such as Pozo del Molle and Oncativo. It is estimated that the activity created temporary jobs for 2,000 people in various sectors.

The so-called Recorrido Peñero operated for 13 nights as a business platform for the private sector. More than 400 entrepreneurs took part and 12 gastronomic spaces were opened along the waterfront. Many stallholders managed to recover their investment fee in a few days thanks to the sales volume.
Artistic line-up and turnout
The artistic program took place between Friday and Tuesday at the Municipal Amphitheater with tickets sold out at the start. The first evening highlighted the traditional essence with the central figure of Chaqueño Palavecino. The artist shared the bill with Jorge Rojas, Soledad, and Los Tekis before a packed stadium.
Sunday stood out for the performances of Fito Páez and Abel Pintos, who drew a large crowd to the venue. Meanwhile, Monday night was dedicated to cuarteto with La Pepa Brizuela and Euge Quevedo. This specific night did not manage to sell out the available tickets, unlike previous editions.
