A 17-year-old was arrested in Villa María, accused of producing images of child abuse. The search was carried out at his home in the San Martín neighborhood. The court order was issued after receiving an international alert about the existence of illegal material.
The police seized a cell phone containing numerous sexual files involving children. According to the investigation, one of the victims is believed to belong to the accused's immediate family circle. For this reason, urgent protection measures were adopted.
The operation was coordinated by Multiple Prosecutor's Office No. 3 together with the Judicial Police and the Córdoba Provincial Police. The seriousness of the case led the Juvenile Court to order immediate intervention.

The alert came from the United States
The first warning came from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC). The reports were issued in cooperation with Missing Children, Interpol, and Argentine prosecutors. These agreements allow for rapid action in the face of digital crimes.
Once the report was received, the case was referred to the competent court in Villa María. There, the investigation into the accused began immediately. International coordination made it possible to act quickly in response to the detected threat.
