Technology company Vortex, based in Córdoba, is preparing to enter the European market in 2026. Founded 16 years ago, the company has consolidated its expansion in artificial intelligence, automation, and digital transformation. With more than 130 employees in Argentina, it seeks to project its innovation model on a global scale.
Innovation Director Jorge Nieves Castillo anticipated that the company is considering an acquisition to create Vortex Europe. Currently, the firm is already working with two clients from the continent on AI and data analytics projects. "We want to operate directly in Europe with our own structure," the executive stated.

From Córdoba to the world with applied innovation
Vortex was founded with a focus on software development, but it evolved toward digital strategic consulting. Today, it combines technology with business process redesign, helping companies adapt to new business environments. "The focus is on supporting change with real solutions," Nieves stated.
From its headquarters in Córdoba, it accounts for 75% of its global revenue and coordinates operations throughout Latin America. It has teams in Colombia, Costa Rica, and the United States, where it is already legally registered. Its regional structure covers markets from Chile and Paraguay to Central America and the Caribbean.

Sustained growth and job expansion
Artificial intelligence has boosted the company's productivity and revenue. This year, Vortex added 40 new professionals, far exceeding its initial projections. "We expected to add 10, but demand was explosive," Nieves Castillo acknowledged.
The company plans an additional 50% growth in 2026, driven by its international expansion. According to its executive, automation has allowed costs to be reduced and development times to be shortened from months to days. "The cost in our industry is the man-hour; optimizing it makes us more competitive," he emphasized.

AI, local development, and digital future
During Córdoba Tech Week, the company presented an application created in one week with AI, showing the efficiency of the new paradigm. It also launched two spin-offs: Quickpass, for access control, and Loyalix, for loyalty programs.
Nieves stated that artificial intelligence represents a strategic opportunity for the country. "Argentina can change its technological role and position itself as an exporter of innovation," he concluded.
