María Sol Messi, younger sister of Lionel Messi, is going through a recovery period after the serious accident that she suffered in Miami, which caused concern both in her family circle and among the followers of the captain of the Argentina national team.
After receiving medical attention in the United States, the young woman has already returned to the country to continue with the necessary care and to surround herself with her family.
The incident occurred when Sol became unwell while she was driving her vehicle, lost control, and ended up crashing into a wall.
The information was confirmed by journalist Ángel de Brito on the program LAM (América), after he communicated with Celia Cuccittini, the footballer's mother.
La hermana del astro del fútbol volvió a Rosario para seguir con su recuperación
As was detailed on air, the sudden illness was the trigger for the accident and resulted in significant injuries.
As a consequence of the impact, the designer suffered the fracture of two vertebrae, an injury to her heel, and burns on one of her wrists.
As a result of this condition, she had to postpone her wedding, which was scheduled for the first days of January in Rosario.
Although the injuries do not put her life at risk, the recovery process includes rest, medical checkups, and progressive rehabilitation.
In a conversation with De Brito, Celia Cuccittini provided reassurance about her daughter's progress. "She is fine and she is already in Argentina", she assured, and she emphasized that the absolute priority at this time is her recovery.
Family sources indicated that close support is key to getting through this stage.
The host of LAM also highlighted that, despite the initial severity of the accident, the progress is favorable.
"She is out of danger, but the injuries are serious and they are going to require time", he explained, while he stressed that the return to the country will allow closer medical monitoring.
Currently, Sol Messi continues with specific care and a rehabilitation plan in line with the injuries she suffered. Although the path will be long, her condition is stable and the young woman is supported by her family while she moves forward, step by step, in her recovery.
Lionel Messi also traveled with Antonela Roccuzzo and their three sons, Thiago, Mateo, and Ciro, so that they could spend the holidays as they do every year in Rosario and so that he could stay informed about his sister's condition.
