The wuxia universe of Where Winds Meet will take a leap in scale in December with an expansion packed with new content. NetEase announced that the game will add new territories, bosses, challenges, and themed events, consolidating its international progress and its ambition as an open-world RPG.
The title, set in a China inspired by mythology and classic martial arts, will expand its accessibility thanks to its launch on Android and iOS, opening the door to a new generation of players.
Key date: December 12, launch day of the major update
According to the official roadmap, December 12 will be the central date of the global expansion. On that day, the mobile version will be enabled, allowing users worldwide to explore Qinghe, Kaifeng, and the game's different territories without the need for a PC or dedicated console.

Meanwhile, NetEase will open Roaring Sands, a desert region inspired by wuxia tales that until now had only been shown on the map but remained inaccessible outside China. With its global debut, players will be able to face new environmental and narrative challenges.
The update will also introduce two prominent bosses: River Master and Feng Ruzhi, designed to add depth to combat and offer engaging content for both new and experienced players.
Themed events and special activities during December
The expansion is not limited to new zones and enemies. During December, special activities and temporary content will be added to celebrate the game's cultural identity.
