National Institute of Statistics and Censuses (INDEC) released on Wednesday the data corresponding to wholesale inflation for November 2025, where wholesale prices recorded an increase of 1.6% compared with the previous month and accumulated a rise of 23.2% in the first eleven months of the year.
According to the agency, the general level of the Wholesale Domestic Price Index (IPIM) showed in November a monthly increase of 1.6% and a 24.3% year-on-year rise. This result was a consequence of different behaviors between domestically produced goods and imported goods. While "Domestic products" increased 1.8%, "Imported products" recorded a decrease of 0.6% in the same period.
Within the group of domestic products, several divisions had a relevant positive impact on the monthly variation of the IPIM. Among them, "Agricultural products" stood out, which contributed an impact of 0.51%; "Refined petroleum products," with 0.41%; "Food and beverages," with 0.30%; and "Motor vehicles, bodies and parts," with an impact of 0.21%.

In the opposite direction, the "Crude oil and gas" division was the one that had the greatest negative impact, with a decrease of 0.55%, helping to moderate the overall increase of the index.
