Yanina Latorre lashed out at Maru Botana after her denial
After the LAM panelist found out that the cook accused her of making up the story, an enraged Latorre replied.
The conflict between Yanina Latorre and Maru Botana reignited after the chef denied having bullied her in their youth. The panelist quickly replied with harsh comments on social media, thus reviving a long-standing feud.
According to Latorre, the problem began when both were studying at a private university and shared the same group of friends. She claimed that Botana harassed her for being thin, causing her friends to turn their backs on her: "She bullied me, turned everyone against me, and my mom had to intervene."
Meanwhile, Maru Botana flatly denied these accusations. She asserted that she never had problems with Yanina or her sister Maite, with whom she shared the same social circle. Additionally, she denied having encouraged her to stop eating and described her statements as an "invention."

The chef also revealed that she decided not to participate in a television program to avoid conflicts with Latorre: "I'm not up for someone criticizing and laughing at me at this stage of my life."She explained that she had been invited by Chato Prada but preferred to withdraw from the project.
Latorre's harsh response
Following these statements, Yanina exploded on social media and launched a series of attacks against Botana. "The mythomaniac Maru Botana is still obsessed with me like when we were kids. She said she left a show because I threatened her on the radio," she wrote in her Instagram stories.
She continued with harsh accusations: "Maru, nobody likes you, you're a bad colleague. Does Lapegüe lie? Does Coco lie?" She also questioned her public image: "Putting on an innocent face, dressing like Heidi, stirring the pot, and having many children doesn't make you a good person," the host fired.

Latorre reaffirmed her version and claimed that Botana ruined her life in her youth: "She humiliated me, mistreated me, and filled my friends' heads. Obviously, she ended up fighting with all of them. She has no friends. Her school and college classmates hate her."
Finally, she closed with a blunt phrase: "I go straight, and you're sly. There's a reason you avoid me and cross the street when you see me." With a damning message, she concluded: "God, Maru Botana, self-criticism, you don't exist."
