YPF and Globant announced the launch of Digital Suppl.AI, a transformation platform based on agentic artificial intelligence that aims to optimize the supply chain of the country's leading energy company. The project is part of YPF's 4x4 Plan, a corporate strategy aimed at improving the company's efficiency, competitiveness, and sustainability in the medium term.
The initiative combines Globant's technological expertise with YPF's operational infrastructure to develop intelligent solutions applied to procurement processes, inventory control, contracts, and supplier management. In this first stage, eight agentic solutions will be implemented, integrated by 46 AI agents capable of automating manual tasks and providing real-time strategic recommendations.
How the AI Pods model works
The project is developed under Globant's AI Pods model, a subscription-based engineering services system that combines artificial intelligence agents with human supervision. Each pod is made up of experts and intelligent systems that collaborate to achieve greater productivity and reduce development times (time-to-market).
These tools will allow YPF to integrate scattered data, achieve full traceability in its processes, and replace reactive decisions with predictive analysis. According to the company, Digital Suppl.AI will go beyond traditional automation: it will learn and evolve with each interaction, ensuring efficiency, speed, and alignment with the company's internal policies.

Meanwhile, Horacio Marín, president and CEO of YPF, emphasized: "We are going to ensure that Argentina exports more than 30 billion dollars by 2031. To be efficient in management, we need the right tools, and this project with Globant is key to advancing the country's productive transformation."
From Globant Energy & Telecommunications AI Studio, its CEO Fernando Montero Bolognini added that the alliance "will allow YPF to capitalize on value in key areas thanks to next-generation developments based on AI."
A step toward efficiency and global competitiveness
The collaboration between YPF and Globant marks a new chapter in the digitalization of the Argentine energy sector. With Digital Suppl.AI, both companies aim to consolidate a more agile, transparent, and sustainable operating model, aligned with the objectives of the 4x4 Plan, which seeks to position YPF among the most competitive energy companies in the world and raise the country's exports to historic levels by 2030.
