Terrorists: Armed Evistas killed police officers who were trying to defend Llallagua

The anger of the criminals aligned with Evo Morales began when the population tried to lift the blockade points

Violence in Llallagua reached its most critical point on Wednesday. Two sub-lieutenants of the Bolivian Police were murdered in cold blood by armed blockaders. The officers were part of the operation that was attempting to clear the roads taken by pro-Evo sectors.

They were attacked with gunfire while performing their duty. The public was shocked by the brutality of the event.

The deceased were identified as Brayan Barrozo Rodríguez and Carlos Enrique Apata Tola. Both were graduates of the National Police Academy.

They were deployed in the area along with a contingent that departed from Oruro. They were participating in the clearing operation when they were ambushed. A captain, Daynor Miranda, was also seriously injured.

The blockaders used warfare tactics and positioned themselves on the hills. They attacked with explosives, stones, and firearms. The Police were caught off guard during the clearing task.

They couldn't react to a planned and deadly attack. Testimonies indicate that the assailants had high-cost rifles.

Videos shared on social media show the violence of the attack. In the footage, gunfire against the officers can be seen. The use of dynamite and other explosives is also confirmed.

Some police officers were taken hostage and brutally beaten. Ambulances were even prevented from reaching the wounded.

The Minister of Government, Roberto Ríos, confirmed the deaths of the two sub-lieutenants. He stated that the officers were vilely murdered for fulfilling their duty. He denounced that what happened in Llallagua is not a social demand.

He accused Evo Morales of promoting a violent strategy to force his candidacy. He emphasized that this is terrorism driven from the Cochabamba tropics.

The criminals possess sophisticated weaponry

The Police haven't yet issued a complete official report. However, it was confirmed that the blockaders used precision weaponry. Some photographs show military-grade rifles in the hands of the strikers.

The victims were killed by gunshots amid the chaos. The crime has sparked a wave of outrage throughout the country.

Assembly member Azucena Fuertes warned about the use of snipers. She stated that the ambush has similarities to the events of 2019. According to reports, the assailants acted from elevated positions.

The violence was planned and executed with tactical advantage. Llallagua has become a war zone.

Representatives of police officers' wives demanded the declaration of a state of siege. They denounced that the agents are at a disadvantage against the blockaders. The latter use dynamite, homemade traps, and lethal weapons.

Meanwhile, the police lack adequate equipment. The Government hasn't yet replied to the urgent request for protection.

The mining cooperativists also called for a firm response. They issued a statement demanding that the president take action. They call for a state of emergency in the most violent areas.

They reject allowing chaos to advance for political calculation. The population demands order and security.

In Llallagua, there were not only murders but also lootings. Ayllus aligned with Evo Morales entered the town center. They used stones and explosives to attack the civilian population.

Some businesses and public buildings were destroyed. The Police were overwhelmed and had to request reinforcements.

The violence began when residents tried to lift the blockades. Tired of the isolation, they went out to demand free transit. In response, the blockaders intensified their attacks.

Not only against the Police but also against the residents themselves. Tension erupted and blood was shed in the streets.

The road network remains taken by radical sectors. They demand the resignation of President Luis Arce, although there is no unity in their demands.

The background, according to authorities, is Evo Morales's attempt to return to power. He would do so through violent and unconstitutional pressure. Now, even with fatal victims.

The clashes have paralyzed basic services in the area. The population of Llallagua no longer has gas or transportation. Local authorities are overwhelmed by the situation.

No firm state presence is observed in the region. Anarchy threatens to spread to other provinces.

So far, there are no arrests for the murders. The material perpetrators haven't been fully identified either.

The public demands justice and the restoration of order. Llallagua has become a symbol of a crisis the country can't ignore.

The events in Llallagua are neither accidental nor spontaneous. They are the result of a premeditated strategy by Evo Morales and his most radical circle to force his registration as a candidate.

Instead of respecting democratic norms, they have chosen to sow terror with dynamite, snipers, and ambushes that have claimed lives.

The measures adopted by the pro-Evo sectors constitute a direct attack on the rule of law. Morales seeks to force his candidacy with methods typical of authoritarian regimes.
