Daniel Noboa's government expanded the coverage of the 1,000 Days Bonus.

The measure will benefit 20,000 new mothers with a social investment of USD 58 million

Daniel Noboa's administration has announced a new phase of the 1,000 Days Bonus, aimed at pregnant women and women with children under two years old. This program already reaches 140,000 beneficiaries and will expand to 20,000 more.

The plan includes staggered payments: USD 50 per month, plus three special disbursements at birth and at the child's first and second year. The government's social policy aims to break cycles of poverty from early childhood.

The investment for this expansion will be USD 58 million, with a banking mechanism that ensures direct and transparent payment. Noboa's administration avoids intermediaries and promotes financial inclusion.

This bonus is part of a comprehensive approach that integrates health, nutrition, and early education. Women must register accounts with financial institutions to receive the money directly.

The Ministry of Economic and Social Inclusion coordinates the implementation of the program together with health centers and local protection networks. The expansion of the bonus aligns with the presidential goal of reducing chronic child malnutrition.

Social and academic organizations have supported the measure as an effective action to improve human development indicators in the short and medium term.

The 1,000 Days Bonus reinforces the government's commitment to social policies aimed at the most vulnerable sectors. Sustained and measurable social investment makes a difference in the current administration.

With this expansion, Daniel Noboa's government positions itself as an active promoter of social rights and protection of early motherhood. The plan represents a concrete step in the right direction: caring for the present to transform the future.
